Spanish helmet manufacturer LS2 has expanded into the motorcycle luggage market, introducing a cost-effective alternative to traditional hard panniers. This new offering is engineered for versatility, accommodating a wide range of motorcycles from naked bikes to long-distance touring models.

The new Move Ahead luggage set comprises soft panniers, a tail bag, and a roll bag, all advertised as fully waterproof. The flagship Move Ahead Panniers provide a total capacity of 40 litres, with 20 litres on each side, and are priced at £149.99 RRP, including VAT. Engineered for long-distance travel, they are constructed from durable 500D tarpaulin with robust PVC coatings both inside and out. Welded seams and roll-top closures enhance their practicality, ensuring contents remain dry even during prolonged exposure to wet conditions, according to an LS2 press release. Additionally, key areas have been reinforced to maintain the bags’ shape and ensure they withstand long-term use.

Each of the three sets is available for individual purchase, with the Move Ahead Tail Bag retailing at £69.99. In contrast, LS2’s newly introduced roll bag is offered at a competitive price of just £19.99.

The tail bag offers a 10-litre storage capacity, but its primary appeal lies in its exceptional versatility. It can function as a tail bag mounted to panniers or luggage racks, and with minimal effort, it can be swiftly transformed into a tank bag or a backpack, providing adaptable carrying options to suit various needs and preferences.

Similar to the new panniers, it is reported to feature a welded construction and robust materials to achieve IPX5 waterproofing. The roll bag provides three litres of storage capacity and is designed for versatile attachment to panniers, racks, handlebars, and frames, or for use as an inner compartment within larger luggage.
