So, a few people have been asking me about storage and luggage for the trip.
I will be using the LoneRider explorer bag for getting the camping equipment to and from the start/finish line, an Oxford textile soft pannier set for the ride (to carry tools and emergency equipment and a tank bag (which I have yet to decide, I do have a few to use but current considerations are the Lima-Moto Nextec and Oxford F1). As always with long rides, I will be using a water bladder in a rucksack to keep hydrated.

The next major task on the bike will be the electrical work. This will involve rewiring the heated grips while simultaneously installing the new USB port from UltimateAddons on the handlebars, along with adding a switch for the auxiliary lights. Additionally, a wiring loom will be fitted to the rear to accommodate an under-seat USB port and a battery charger connection.
