Ear plugs.

You either love them or hate them.

Some riders swear by them and others cant stand them, personally it depends on how long I plan to ride and which bike I am riding as to whether I pop some in or not.

This guide is looking at reusable ear plugs but for comparison we will also include one disposable set.

How we tested these.

The sound noise reduction (SNR) we have used are what the manufacturers advertise, I don’t have a way to test them so were trusting them to be honest.

Consumer product reviews, these are real reviews written by purchasers on Amazon, I have doubled the points here because 4.4 is neither 4 or 5 (so 4.0 to 4.4 is 8 points and 4.5 to 4.9 is 9 points).

The results.

First place – Oxford Moldex

Joint second place – Oxford Filterbuds & Naiicute ear buds

Well without trying my go-to ear plugs have won outright, I kind of expected them to win the budget friendly but not overall. I have used Oxford Moldex for as long as I can remember.
