Vogrsko is a settlement in the lower Vipava Valley in the Municipality of Renče–Vogrosko in the Littoral region of Slovenia.
The parish church in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Justus and belongs to the Diocese of Koper.

Rakitnik is a village settlement south of Postojna in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia.

Koritnice is a village east of Knežak in the Municipality of Ilirska Bistrica in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia.
Koritnice is the site of a mass grave from the Second World War. The Slope Cave Mass Grave is located about 1.6 miles (2.5 km) east of the village. Based on descriptions by spelunkers and reports from local people, it contains the remains of German soldiers thrown into the shaft during the war.

Kozarišče is a village south of Stari Trg pri Ložu in the Municipality of Loška Dolina in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia. The area of the village extends south of the main settlement right to the Sneznik Plateau and to the border with Croatia. Snežnik Castle, a 13th-century castle, is located just southwest of the village.

Škofljica is a settlement in central Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Škofljica. It lies on the eastern edge of the marshlands south of the capital Ljubljana. The entire municipality is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

NovoMesto is the seventh-largest city of Slovenia. It is the economic and cultural centre of the traditional region of Lower Carniola (south eastern Slovenia) and the seat of the City Municipality of Novo Mesto. It lies on a bend of the Krka River, close to the border with Croatia.

Raduha is a mountain in the eastern part of Kamnik–Savinja Alps in northern Slovenia.
It is separated from its main group by the Savinja Gorge. It has relatively flat top in the northeast–southwest direction. Its lower peaks are Jelovec (1,845 metres or 6,053 feet), Lanež (1,925 m or 6,316 ft), and Little Raduha (2,029 m or 6,657 ft), and the highest peak is Big Raduha (2,062 m or 6,765 ft). The Loka Lodge stands east of the summit. The highest-elevation show cave in Slovenia, Snow Cave lies on the western side. The western and northern parts are rocky.

Kranj is the third-largest city in Slovenia and the largest town and urban centre of the traditional region of Upper Carniola (north western Slovenia) and the Slovene Alps. It is located approximately 12 miles (20 kms) northwest of the national capital Ljubljana, acting as the seat of the City Municipality of Kranj.

Spodnje Gorje is the largest settlement in the Municipality of Gorje in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. It includes the hamlets of Zgornji Graben, Furtuna, and Poljane on the Mežakla Plateau.

Kranjska Gora is a town in north western Slovenia, on the Sava Dolinka River in the Upper Carniola region, close to the Austrian and Italian borders. It is the seat of the Municipality of Kranjska Gora. The tripoint between Austria, Italy and Slovenia lies on the mountain of Dreiländereck, known as Peč in Slovenia.


Most na Soči is a town in the Municipality of Tolmin in the Littoral region of Slovenia. It is located on a rocky crest above the confluence of Soča and Idrijca rivers. In the past these two riverbeds, deeply carved into the rocky slopes, provided the settlement with excellent protection from intruders. Due to the nearby Doblar hydro plant, the basins of the river were entirely inundated and below the settlement a vast reservoir was formed, which now attracts both fishermen and visitors, who can stroll along some well-kept panoramic paths.

Idrija is a town in western Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Idrija. Located in the traditional region of the Slovene Littoral and in the Gorizia Statistical Region, it is notable for its mercury mine with stores and infrastructure, as well as miners’ living quarters, and a miners’ theatre. Together with the Spanish mine at Almadén, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2012. In 2011, Idrija was given the Alpine Town of the Year award.
