The British Motorcyclists Federation (BMF) exists to safeguard the rights of all British motorcyclists.
The BMF is also a fantastic community, made up of individual members and motorcycle clubs, it provides support, advice and organises excellent events throughout the UK.

Beach to Beach for sands – is a coast to coast charity ride with a difference and a purpose.
Riding from a beach in Wales to a beach in Scotland raising money for the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity (Sands) is a national charity in the United Kingdom that provides support to anyone affected by the death of a baby. It is based at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London and is a registered charity.

DocBike – is a charity combines a highly qualified doctor or critical care paramedic with two wheels to reduce deaths and serious injuries on our roads due to motorcycle collisions..
When motorcyclists are involved in a collision, often the injuries are catastrophic, and no amount of medical care can save a person’s life.
This is why a lot of the DocBike charity’s time is invested in preventing motorcyclists from being in a collision in the first place.

The Federation of European Motorcyclists’ Associations (FEMA).
FEMA represents European motorcyclists. It’s purpose is to promote, protect & preserve motorcycling and it’s mission is to promote riders’ interests and defend riders’ rights throughout Europe and globally.

Graham Field – is a friend of Two-Wheels and the author of motorcycle adventure travel books: In Search of Greener Grass, Ureka & Different Natures. Travel on his mind, bikes in his blood and little in his wallet, Graham’s low budget journeys of humour and honesty have inspired many to hit the road in search of their dreams.

Iron Butt association UK – The Iron Butt Association is not a club as such. There are no membership fees. There is only one way to become a member, you must successfully complete, and have certified, an IBA Certificate ride.

Lands End – John O’Groats association – Setup in 1983 to celebrate the iconic trip, the website has a whole wealth of information, guides and help.
Nige completed this ride in 2025.
Also, you receive a snazzy certificate once the trip is completed and verified.

Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) – The Motorcycle Action Group democracy is at the core of what we are. We are a truly democratic organisation with a well-established constitution which enshrines the rights and responsibilities of the individual. The constitution provides the means and guidance by which every individual member can influence policy and direction.

The Longest Day Challenge – A challenge in aid of Cancer Research UK, for motorcyclists on cheap and inappropriate motorcycles to ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats in 24hrs on the longest day of the year. Bikes must have been bought for no more than £600!
