LEJoG charity ride 2025.

The Longest Day Challenge!

Never ones to shy away from a challenge, Ant and myself (Nige) are participating in the 13th running of the event in 2025. If all goes according to plan, Ant will be riding a Honda NTV650 and Nige will be riding a Suzuki GS500.

A challenge in aid of Cancer Research UK, for motorcyclists on the cheap and riding inappropriate motorcycles from Land’s End to John O’Groats in 24hrs, on the longest day of the year. The bikes must have been bought for no more than £600!

The 12th running of “The Longest Day Challenge” was stunning, raising money for Cancer Research UK. 35 set off from Lands End, and by some miracle- and a lot of help from an army of volunteers – 35 arrived at John O’Groats. Still very much in processing the whole “did that all really happen over that 24-36 hours” feelings, but the sheer amount of money raised by this years The Longest Day Challenge riders will never sink in.

This is not the official route, it is a map to show the severity of the distance we will be hopefully travelling.

Nige is planning to refresh a Suzuki GS500 for the LEJoG challenge.

Ant is planning to strip and modify a Honda NTV650 for the LEJoG challenge.
