Just off the A65, a very popular place to meet up, have a dip in the river or have a BBQ on the river shore.

A great stop off point from Yorkshire to the Lake District in Cumbria. Can get very busy during weekends and bank holidays.

Spanning the River Lune, to the south east of Kirby Lonsdale is Devils Bridge. The three-arched bridge probably dates from the 12th or 13th century and is schedules as an ancient monument. Devils bridge was once the only bridge over the River Lune for miles and formed part of the busy West-bound route into Kirby Lonsdale. Now closed to traffic it is a popular resting place, perfect for picnics and also the start and end point for a delightful riverside walk into the north of Kirby Lonsdale.

A popular haunt for motorbike enthusiasts who congregate at weekends in the adjoining parking area to discuss all things mechanical over a hot brew and bacon butty.
