I use my Dianese leg bag for long trips in the UK, touring and fly rides.

You can buy cheaper brands, but I do think this is an item that you buy cheap you buy twice. I love the key holder (great for putting pannier keys in rather than having them on the bike set and scratching the bike all the time).
Mine is looking a little worse for wear now, but it has been abused all its life. I have not tried to wash it, perhaps I should!
