Owning action cameras is a little bit like owning bikes, you find you need different cameras for different occasions. After spending some time with Northernmotovlog, I found the need to be able to record and speak at the same time, so with their input we decided to go with a GoPro 9 and media mod.

The GoPro Hero 9 features an advanced sensor capable of capturing stunning 5K video and 20-megapixel still images, along with next-generation HyperSmooth 3.0 video stabilization and in-camera horizon leveling for professional-grade footage. It is equipped with a newly added front-facing display and an enlarged rear display for improved usability. Offering 30% increased battery life, it also supports the Max Lens Mod accessory, which delivers Max HyperSmooth stabilization and Max SuperView ultra wide-angle capabilities for both photos and videos.
This test was conducted without the use of a lavalier microphone, utilizing instead the media mod’s built-in microphone for audio capture.
In the future I am looking to organise some commentary rides.
The battery lasts well over a hour and replacement batteries are available.

The camera was mounted on the left hand mirror on the Honda CBR600 F4. I will do a test on the interceptor in the future.
The camera its self is well constructed, it feels strong and like it will take a drop or two.
Features:

Final thoughts:
If youtubers use them, then they are good enough for me. I cannot complain about this camera. With the 11 I was always worried about batteries, with this, I carry a spare and I am happy in the knowledge a decant ride can be captured.
