By law you have to wear a helmet. No one said it had to be uncomfortable.

I have owned many helmets over the years of riding, I have had cheap ‘store branded’ up to AGV rider licensed helmets.

This time, when I walked into the shop, I decided to go with a helmet that felt right, I was not concerned about looks or style, all I knew is that I wanted a modular style for touring and every day use, but without emptying my bank account!

I had never looked at or owned a HJC before, but as soon as I put it on my head, it felt perfect, I loved the colour (a good thing as it was the only one in my size) and for the price I was shocked at the features included (maybe this is because for the last couple of years I have had ‘store branded’ helmets and really the only feature was pinlock and a internal sin visor at best), but I especially liked how the intercom was integrated into the helmet itself.

On the road, the helmet feels light, good noise for a modular helmet, the sun visor is smooth and the visor has great adjustment. The front flips at the press of a button and the chin strap does not dig in or flap loose.

Features:

  • Dual homologation (P/J)
  • Advanced polycarbonate composite shell with adjustable polycarbonate chinbar: lightweight, superior fit and comfort using CAD technology
  • Pinlock ready HJ-33 visor: provides 99% UV protection, anti scratch coated
  • Dynamic multi-step sun shield for optimized position. Anti scratch coated sunshield
