Finding comfortable yet safe motorbike footwear can be quite a challenge. When I started as a pillion, I used to wear work boots, but they felt heavy over time, especially when touring.
After spending a good hour browsing through various boot types and styles, I found that the IXS Classic offers the perfect balance of safety and comfort, all with a great look—and at a price that’s hard to beat.
After an accident last year, I had trouble with ‘high top’ and ‘boot’ style motorcycle shoes. Finding a pair that fit so well was a major relief, and even after wearing them for long periods, they feel almost as light as regular trainers.
My only complaint is that they look worn out even when brand new, as the design gives them a second-hand appearance!
