My bikes are kept in a locked garage with CCTV, that does not mean that I feel they are secure as they are. I have wall and ground anchors for all of my bikes and if they are not in constant use (I usually have two that are in use at any one time) they are chained up.

I have used many lock and chain systems, and this has to be one of the cheapest, but the price is the only cheap part of this! The chain is galvanised and the material cover is good quality, the lock itself is chunky and has a dust/dirt protector.

This is not a light weight lock and chain set. That said it is easily transportable.

I took mine for a night away, I was very impressed with the quality of both the lock and the chain.

I did still use a disc lock, but I think that was more out of habit, there was no need to actually have any other security on the bike at all.
