St Helier is the capital of Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands in the English Channel. It is the most populous of Jersey’s twelve parishes, with a population of 35,822, making up over a third of the island’s total population. St Helier is also Jersey’s largest settlement and its only town.

Saint Helier Harbour is the primary port on Jersey, one of the Channel Islands. Located on the island’s south coast, it spans much of the shoreline of St Helier, the main town. It is managed by Ports of Jersey, a company fully owned by the Government of Jersey.
