With any luck we are leaving this check point in the early hours of the morning.
Upon returning, an odometer reading will be conducted and my rider card signed, followed by verification of the route using the receipts collected along the way.
I am thoroughly familiar with this section of the route, in fact, I will have ridden it the previous day on the way to the start at Squires Café. Jumping back on to the M6 for a short ride to the M62 (and M60) then back up the A1 to the finish line. Hopefully this is completed within the 24 hours!
