The final segment of the journey is also the shortest by a considerable margin. Upon returning, an odometer reading will be conducted and my rider card signed, followed by verification of the route using the receipts collected along the way.
I am thoroughly familiar with this section of the route, in fact, I will have ridden it the previous day on the way to the start at Squires Café. Jumping back on to the M6 for a short ride to the M62 (and M60) then back up the A1 to the finish line. Hopefully this is completed within the 24 hours!
