Thousands of motorcyclists from all over the UK have flocked to Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC) for the first few days of the annual Motorcycle Live (MCL) show.

The Midlands event began on Saturday, November 15, and runs through Sunday, November 23, offering visitors a chance to see the latest machinery unveiled at the recent EICMA trade show in Milan, along with famous faces, guest speakers, freestyle motocross, test rides, and plenty more.
“We got the start we were hoping for,” said Managing Director Finlay McAllan. “We sold more space, more tickets in advance, brought in more manufacturers, and there’s definitely more of a buzz.”
The event has featured the announcement of race teams for 2026, along with daily live music and technical riding demonstrations at the BMW stand.
“We’ve got welding demonstrations on stage, airbag vests being deployed, and display disc locks being ground down – there’s a lot going on,” McAllan said. “It’s a bike show, and there are bikes, but there’s also more to do and see than there was last year.”
On the very first weekend, several manufacturers hosted smaller events at their own stands, including Suzuki, which brought together past and present racers to celebrate 40 years of the GSX-R sportsbike legacy.
Notable racers spotted so far include Leon Haslam, Bradley Ray, Sam Sunderland, Storm Stacey, John McGuinness, and others – with the iconic commentary duo James Whitham and Jack Burnicle firing off questions on the Black Horse Stage.
