Well it has been a productive few days in-between work and life. We are still quite a way off, but we are definitely on the home stretch now.

I have taken the tyres off the new wheels from Jamie and in typical fashion, the bead breaker pole was too large so I had to make a thinner one to go through the front wheel.
The plan, is to hopefully find someone to powder coat them for me without breaking the budget.
I have had a look around my garage and have found some new valves for them, so I think were sorted for now.
In other news, RS Motorworx have provided a new set of tyres and valve caps as well as a pretty set of cone air filters (unfortunately when I was upgrading and modifying the fuel lines, they run directly where the original air box sits so I am no longer able to use it). Yes the engine needs a good clean, but that, I am hoping is a last minute job there are far more pressing issues to deal with first.

I have also cut down the original undertray to make a ‘tail tidy’ and moved the rear indicators (pics to follow in next instalment).
The rest of the recent work has been more paint preparation and finishing off the wiring.
We have been slightly productive.
Nige has teamed up with 12 volt planet, Atom batteries, All Oils, Beeline navigation, Dr Wack, Goodridge, HiFlo filtro, Lomo, Lone Rider, MandP, MSG bike gear, Pinlock, Rippl impact gear, RS Motorworx, SMD automotive and Ultimate Addons to complete this challenge. Without the help of these companies this wouldn’t have been possible.
Nige would also like to extend his gratitude to Ant and Dan for their help and Emma for supporting him whilst he is spending time in the garage.
