Another busy few days.
The painting is as good as complete. I have started putting stickers on the bodywork.
Still to do:
- The wheels have had some paint, but initially the paint was not taking properly, so they have had a good couple of coats and still need more work, once the wheels are painted the new tyres need fitting.
- The engine needs a service and the clutch needs adjusting (I think the engine oil was diluted with fuel when the pet cock decided to expire).
- Engine clean and dressing, this is something Dan is desperate to do.
- Final brake check over and bleed.
- Put some miles on the clock ensuring that everything does as it is meant to.
Still quite a lot to do.
Nige has teamed up with 12 volt planet, Atom batteries, All Oils, Beeline navigation, Dr Wack, Goodridge, HiFlo filtro, Lomo, Lone Rider, MandP, MSG bike gear, Pinlock, Rippl impact gear, RS Motorworx, SMD automotive and Ultimate Addons to complete this challenge. Without the help of these companies this wouldn’t have been possible.
Nige would also like to extend his gratitude to Ant and Dan for their help and Emma for supporting him whilst he is spending time in the garage.
