It ran………..but not for long. Sensing my frustrations, Ant popped over the other night, to try and help diagnose the issues with the bike.
The new plugs have arrived and we now have a decant spark, but initially not firing, we then got a slight idle then stopped.
After several carefully aimed technical taps to the fuel bowls on the carbs, we got it running, idling at 4000 RPM. We both agreed that fuelling was the issue.
With that said, we took the carburettors off, and Ant took them to CRC Restoration Services to hopefully sort them out last minute. Ian from CRC did the 2024 Longest Day Challenge and will be at one of the pit stops for the 2025 event. He understands how important this is to the riders and we are preying that a rebuild will sort the problem.

Can she live again?
Nige has teamed up with 12 volt planet, Atom batteries, All Oils, Beeline navigation, Dr Wack, Goodridge, HiFlo filtro, Lomo, Lone Rider, MandP, MSG bike gear, Pinlock, Rippl impact gear, RS Motorworx, SMD automotive and Ultimate Addons to complete this challenge. Without the help of these companies this wouldn’t have been possible.
