Publicity and gaining more sponsorship.
I had been invited to display the challenge bike at the Car and Bike show Family Fun Day at Radcliffe Football Club. This show has been going i for a couple of years now and is hosted by Andy’s Man Club.
How could I say no?
I printed off a few things to do with the LDC, put a slide show onto my iPad, made a small collection tin and packed a bag ready.
I set off with Em following in the car with Aria, for her first ‘bike meet’!
On a side note, I have also been asked to write a page for the www.bikemeet.net website, so I printed a couple of copies of the text for people to read.
Currently I have raised just over £540 for Cancer Research UK and the LDC groups total is now a whopping £121,794.23!
Looking forward to next time now!
Nige has teamed up with 12 volt planet, Atom batteries, All Oils, Beeline navigation, Dr Wack, Goodridge, HiFlo filtro, Lomo, Lone Rider, MandP, MSG bike gear, Pinlock, Rippl impact gear, RS Motorworx, SMD automotive and Ultimate Addons to complete this challenge. Without the help of these companies this wouldn’t have been possible.
