Whilst I was in Tenerife, a few supply parcels were delivered. I plan to show you all what generosity has been gifted to me in this project.
The first one that I opened was from SMD automotive. I have used SMD in the past for lights on cars and vans. They have sent me all the bulbs that I can use on the bike. I have decided to show the difference between the standard bulbs and these LED bulbs.
See if you can work out which is a standard incandescent and which is the LED bulb.

I don’t think its hard to work it out is it?
Anyway, the lights are now sorted, so thank you to Sam at SMD Automotive.

I will get round to removing the ‘beam benders’, painting the shroud and possibly even wire in the side lights (on this bike when the ignition is turned on the dipped beam is on), but I also didn’t want a hole where the bulbs should be so I left them in there but not wired in (the only time the side lights come on is when the bike is locked and in the ignition is in park).
I think we are slowly getting there!
Nige has teamed up with 12 volt planet, Atom batteries, All Oils, Beeline navigation, Dr Wack, Goodridge, HiFlo filtro, Lomo, Lone Rider, MandP, MSG bike gear, Pinlock, Rippl impact gear, RS Motorworx, SMD automotive and Ultimate Addons to complete this challenge. Without the help of these companies this wouldn’t have been possible.
Nige would also like to extend his gratitude to Ant and Dan for their help and Emma for supporting him whilst he is spending time in the garage.
