A compressor or tire inflator is a worthwhile investment. I’ve had a mains compressor at home for as long as I can remember, but when motorbike touring, I used to carry an emergency CO2 kit. With more long-distance travel and some off-road riding, I decided it was time to get a rechargeable battery compressor.

There were several non-negotiables for this purchase: it had to charge via USB, be slim enough to fit in my toolbox, be capable of inflating, and include a pressure gauge. Finding the perfect one took a lot of research!

The Temola fit the bill right from the start, and for the price, I was really impressed. Its first task was inflating an airbed, and since then it’s pumped up two car tyres (one from flat) one on charge, inflated the bike trailer tyres, and, to be honest, is starting to take over the job of my 240V compressor for tyre work.

I honestly am impressed with this little piece of kit, to the point I would actually consider another to keep for home use!
