The Paddock Network

Motorcycle racing stars Taylor Mackenzie and Danny Webb have launched an online platform aimed at helping fresh talent break into British and global racing championships.

“Right now, teams rely on scattered Facebook posts and word of mouth to find available riders or staff. If a mechanic becomes free, or a rider is looking for a seat, there has never been a central place to go.”

Job ads are available for all levels of racing, and interested candidates can create personal profiles and upload their CVs. Several roles are already posted, including a full-time workshop mechanic for the MLav Racing Moto3 team and an HGV driver for the Rokit Rookie Kawasaki squad in the British Superbike paddock.

“We want to build the missing link in motorsport,” Danny Webb added. “This is a place where everyone in the paddock can finally connect.”

Both riders say the idea for the website was inspired by their own experiences and messages from people eager to break into a career in motorsport.
